I am Dr Gottemukkala Ashok Raju (M.S. Orthopaedics). I am a Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Hyderabad, specializing in Hip Joint Surgeries, Pelvic-Acetabulum Surgeries, and Fracture Fixation Surgeries. I am a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip replacements, revision hip replacement surgeries, pelvic fractures, and acetabulum fracture fixation surgeries. My other specializations include complex fracture fixation surgeries of the upper and lower limbs, failed fixation and corrective surgeries, total knee replacement, and trauma care.
I am renowned for being an Experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Hip Joint Surgeries, Pelvic-Acetabular surgeries, and Fracture fixation surgeries. I graduated from the University of Manipal Academy Of Higher Education and later went on to do a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai (gold medalist).
Professional Background
After obtaining a residency in orthopaedic surgery, I came back to my hometown and joined Kamineni Hospital, Hyderabad, in the year 2008 as a senior registrar. I have gained additional experience in trauma, joint replacement, arthroscopy, paediatric orthopaedics, and spine. Later on, I completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction and joint replacement.
Even after completing the fellowship, I continued to work at Kamineni Hospital, Hyderabad as a consultant for eight years. Later, I joined Sunshine Hospitals, Hyderabad as a senior hip consultant in 2015. Currently, I am associated with Sunshine Hospitals (now the eminent KIMS hospital) Hyderabad as a Senior Consultant and Head of the Hip Unit in the Department of Orthopaedics.
